What is Computer Science?

Computer science is a branch of computer science that focuses on the theoretical and practical study of computing and its applications. This discipline encompasses areas such as programming, computer architecture, information theory, artificial intelligence, complexity theory and cryptography.

Computer science has evolved over the years and has been instrumental in the development of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and quantum computing. Computing has also become an essential part of our everyday lives, from the use of mobile devices and apps to the processing of large amounts of data in industry.
