Dataset servers

Concept and definition

Dataset servers

What is Dataset servers?

Dataset servers are computer systems that store large datasets centrally and provide access to them through an application programming interface (API) or a web interface. These servers are often used in machine learning and artificial intelligence, as they allow developers and data scientists to access high-quality, large-scale datasets to train and improve their algorithms and models. Dataset servers can host a wide variety of data, from images and audio to text and structured data, and can be provided by private companies, government organisations or research groups.
