Human-level artificial intelligence (HLAI) is a term used to describe artificial intelligence systems that have human-like abilities in terms of reasoning, learning, perception, and problem solving. Unlike conventional artificial intelligence, which focuses on specific and limited tasks, HLAI aims to create systems that can perform multiple complex tasks and adapt to new and unfamiliar situations.
HLAI is based on deep learning and natural language processing techniques, and uses artificial intelligence algorithms to simulate human reasoning and decision-making capabilities. HLAI has applications in different areas, such as healthcare, robotics, customer service and security. However, the creation of HLAI systems is still technically and ethically challenging, and raises important questions about the safety, privacy, and accountability of human-level artificial intelligence systems (see Minsky's article).
