What is Expert systems?

Expert systems are artificial intelligence systems designed to mimic human decision-making in specific areas of knowledge or application domains. These systems rely on the knowledge and experience of domain experts to provide solutions to complex problems. They use a set of rules and algorithms to process data, learn from expert knowledge and make decisions based on that knowledge. Expert systems have been used in a variety of applications, from medical diagnostics to technical support and financial analysis.
