Artificial superintelligence is a theoretical concept that describes a form of artificial intelligence (AI) capable of surpassing human intelligence in all areas of knowledge and skills. In other words, it refers to an AI that is able to solve problems and make decisions faster, more accurately and more sophisticated than humans in any field of activity, including creativity, reasoning, planning, communication, empathy and self-improvement.
Artificial superintelligence is seen by some AI experts as a possible future scenario, but also as a challenge and a concern for its potential impact on society and humanity in general.
