What is Natural Language Processing - NLP?

Natural Language Processing (NLP) is a branch of artificial intelligence that focuses on the interaction between humans and machines using spoken or written natural language. NLP uses machine learning, data mining and computational linguistics techniques to analyze, understand and generate natural language.

The goal of PLN is to enable machines to understand human language and communicate effectively with humans. PLN is used in a variety of applications, such as automatic language translation, sentiment analysis in social networks, text processing, and text generation in response to questions and queries.

The PLN process involves understanding natural language, extracting relevant information, generating appropriate responses, and presenting the results in a human-understandable format. PLN uses text processing techniques, such as tokenization, grammatical tagging, disambiguation and lemmatization, to parse natural language and extract relevant information.

PLN is a key technology for the development of virtual assistants, chatbots, search engines and recommender systems, and is used in a wide range of artificial intelligence and machine learning applications.
