Artificial Intelligence (AI) has several definitions, but it could be said that it is the set of algorithms that are developed with the aim of providing machines with capabilities characteristic of humans and animals such as learning, reasoning, perception, speech recognition, decision making and natural language processing. AI is divided into different subfields such as machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing and robotics.
For example, Machine Learning proposes algorithms that try to replicate the learning process of the human brain. Some typical applications include ChatBots, Personal Assistants, recommendation engines, decision making, text generation, image recognition, among others. Although, on the other hand, it should be noted that the applications that bring the most benefits to the industry today are closely related to financial risk, in terms of predicting future defaults, customer acquisition, sales optimization, etc.
