Narrow artificial intelligence, also known as weak artificial intelligence, refers to the application of machine learning and natural language processing techniques and algorithms to perform specific tasks in an automated manner. Unlike general artificial intelligence, which seeks to develop a machine that can learn and perform any intellectual task that a human being can do, narrow artificial intelligence focuses on specific tasks, such as pattern identification, image recognition, language translation and decision making under limited conditions.
