Cybersecurity

Concept and definition

Cybersecurity

What is Cybersecurity?

Cybersecurity refers to the protection of computer systems, devices and networks against unauthorised access, data theft, sabotage and other cyber attacks.

With the increasing use of technology in our daily lives, cybersecurity has become increasingly important in preventing online threats. Artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques have been used to improve cybersecurity, especially in early threat detection and rapid response to attacks.

For example, machine learning algorithms can analyse large amounts of log data and detect patterns that indicate malicious activity on the network. Artificial intelligence can also be used to predict the likelihood that online activity is malicious, allowing cybersecurity systems to take preventative measures.
